Burglaries in Triune/College Grove Areas >>> Jeff Long 01/27/2012 11:27 AM >>> I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you and all the Neighborhood Watch Group for keeping everyone notified about recent crimes in the area. I want to congratulate you and the Group because you are probably one of the most active Neighborhood Watch Groups in the county. I regularly receive the e-mails from the Group.
I want to give you some accurate information about recent events so everyone will know the true information. Since December 1, 2011 we have had six (6) residential burglaries (not robberies) in the east and south-east end of Williamson County. The following is the list: 12/6/11 Peytonsville-Arno Road; 1/3/12 Cross Keys Road; 1/8/12 Ash Hill Road; 1/17/12 Eudailey Covington Road; 1/17/12 Comstock Road; 1/18/12 Hatcher Lane.
On January 18, 2012, three individuals went to a residence on Spanntown Road and left after seeing someone at home. There was 2 male blacks and one male white in a blue Chevrolet extended cab truck with a dent on the driver's side. Rutherford county has had burglaries where a silver car and a green Pickup were seen. In Williamson County we had three male whites in a rust colored Pickup around the Flatcreek Road area suspicious.
We are patrolling the areas aggressively as possible with added patrols. Also we are coordinating with the surrounding counties to share information. If anyone sees suspicious activity please have them call 615-790-5550 or 911 depending on the urgency. Please also get a license number of the vehicle if possible.
We very much appreciate your assistance as we need the community to help with their eyes and ears for us.
Again thank you to all,
Sheriff Jeff Long
The community email was forwarded to me concerning the residential burglaries in the Triune area. In Williamson County there has been only one attempt on Spanntown Road. In addition there were three burglaries in the areas between College Grove and Bethesda.
There were three men in a orange colored pickup seen acting suspiciously near Flat Creek last week. We are aggressively patrolling the southeast part of the county in hopes of locating a suspect(s).
Rutherford County and Marshall County have both experienced some burglaries near our county line. Not sure on the exact number.
We do still want everyone help in reporting suspicious activity.
I wanted you to have accurate information.
Thanks,
Roddy

NETHERLAND DWARF RABBITS FOR SALE I have both pet and show quality Netherland Dwarf rabbits available for sale. The primary varieties I have available are Black and Blue Otters, Blues, Ruby Eyed Whites, and Silver Martens. Netherland Dwarfs are the smallest of all rabbit breeds (around 2 lbs), thus making them good pets. They also are nice for breeding/showing because they take up so little room. They make great 4-H/FFA projects. If you would like more details about the available rabbits or have additional questions, please email btrabbitry@gmail.com or call 615.210.7740.

Great Pyrenees I now have 2 Great Pyrenees adult females that I need to find a new home for. If you know anyone with plenty of room that would be good to them please pass the word. One is about 3.5 yrs. old (not spayed) and the other is about 6 (spayed) both are solid white. They are very used to and great with goats, cats, chickens and children. I have a younger female coming in heat and they are ganging up on her way too much. I can send pics if somebody wants to see them. It is a mother/daughter and they get along great with each other. Feel free to pass on my email address or phone 615-474-5075. I really appreciate anything you can do.
Thanks!

I save my Triple Crown POP’s for a non-profit rescue in Virginia that cares for only senior horses (TREES). Do you think that you could ask or put in an email blast if there are people who are not collecting them, to save and turn them into you for me and I could pick up whenever I come over? by Gillian Morris Guin on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 2:31pm
Hi, Gillian Guin here. Sunday morning, at 1:30am, a fire broke out near the fireplace at our back house at the Guin ranch. Josh and Ray (who lived in the house) worked tirelessly for 30 minutes to throw water on the fire, from the ground underneath the second story fire, until the fire fighters could arrive. Michael, who also lives in the house came home in the middle of the night to find out his house was on fire. Ray suffered smoke inhalation, and Josh got some cuts and burns on his feet. He wouldn’t even stop to put shoes on until help arrived. It took 5 fire trucks, a tank, some 30 heros, and 4 hours to finally get the fire out. By the time the sun came up, the house, and most of what was in it was lost. Praise God, everyone was okay, and fire fighters were able to prevent the front house (20 feet away) from catching fire.
Ray and Michael have lost so much to fire, smoke, or water damage. We want to help get these guys back on their feet. Tomorrow, at 10am, we are going to try to salvage anything we can. Please come help. Anyone who can clean, bring snacks for the workers, or watch kids would be greatly appreciated. We are also setting up a fund for the guys at Bank of America. (Details to be announced.) Call or text Gillian at (615)579-7584 to let us know if you can come. Thank you. Let’s be the arms of Christ to take care of these guys in their hour of need.
